The company will have two distribution training crews up and running this Fall. The crews will start- up mid October and they typically operate for 6-8 weeks.
The Fall projects will be located in South Coastal and the South Central Regions. Just like the two crews that operated this past Spring, the make up of the crews will consist of employees from all four regions, 4 Apprentices and two Lineman per crew.
The South Central project will be located in the South East Operations Center. The project is a reconductor job removing 336 and installing 795. The supervisor for that job has not been selected as of today.
The apprentices and Lineman for the crew will be selected the first week or so of October.
The Spring crews that operated in the Dunnellon and Apopka were a very big success. The Union is very proud of the work done by our Brothers and look forward to another success this Fall.
